• To save your folder structure between browsing sessions
• To improve the extension based on anonymized usage patterns

Data Storage and Security

Your subscription data and folder organization are stored in our secure Supabase database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

Third-Party Services

FolderTube interacts with YouTube' s website to provide its functionality. We do not share any of your data with YouTube beyond what is already available to YouTube through your normal usage of their platform.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your YouTube subscription data and folder organization indefinitely until you explicitly request its deletion. This ensures your organization structure and preferences are preserved even if you temporarily uninstall the extension or switch devices.

Your Right to Delete Data: You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. To request deletion of your information:

• Send an email to ytsubfolders0000@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
• Include your Google account email in the request
• Specify if you want complete account deletion or specific data removal

Upon receiving your deletion request, we will process it within 14 days. We will send a confirmation email once your data has been completely removed from our systems. Any data backup will also be purged within 30 days of your deletion request.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the extension. Significant changes will be communicated directly via email if we have your contact information.
